THE LEWES & CLARK BEACH HOUSE: Ideally located just three houses away from Lewes Beach, this 3000 SF house offers the perfect space to enjoy an inviting, classy and cozy beach vacation home that can easily sleep multiple families. The house layout has upstairs 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Downstairs a flexible TV room with queen sofa beds could double as a bedroom with an adjacent bathroom with shower. The house is perfect for separate quiet time and large first floor living/dining and kitchen open areas with a two-story screened porch with backyard views of tidal wetlands looking toward the Lewes Canal. The house is outfitted for for all seasons, stocked with board games, books and many beach toys in the garage, with fun for all ages. The house has multiple desks and portable table to offer a novel remote work location. * Currently accepting reservations for 2025 and 2026. * Saturday to Saturday weekly rental during the summer. Grab a cold drink or snack from the second refrigerator and pantry in the laundry room. LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM: The open living room/dining/kitchen centers conversation and activity between the dining room table, adjoining the chef’s kitchen, bay-window reading nook, and the fireplace seating area. This area is well equipped with a wonderful library of books, puzzles and games. KITCHEN: The well-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, 5-seat breakfast bar, new dishwasher and 5 burner gas stovetop with warming drawer and 2 ovens. The kitchen exits to screened porch and gas grill on the deck. Flexible dining options for up to 19+ at mealtime in dining room, breakfast bar and screened porch, and outdoor picnic table. 2ND LIVING ROOM (or 5th BEDROOM) This 1st floor second living room has 2 queen sofa beds with adjoining bathroom with walk-in shower. The 2nd living room has a 48” wall mounted flat screen tv with 500+ channels, DVD player, and books. LAUNDRY ROOM: The laundry room has a new large washer and dryer, a utility sink, pantry and second refrigerator with ice maker. GARAGE: * Lots of gear available to play or relax at the beach or go for a bike ride on the Breakwater Trail. * Bikes, beach chairs, toys, beach bags, cooler and kayaks. * Use of bikes and kayaks are at renter's own risk, per rental agreement. This bedroom shares a Jack and Jill bath with double sinks, a shower and Jacuzzi tub with the VanGogh Bedroom that has a queen bed and a crib. LEWES RENTAL LICENSE ID R2300365 MAXIMUM OVERNIGHT GUESTS • Premises may be occupied by no more than 15 persons. • The City of Lewes limits overnight occupancy to 12 persons if all are adults. • The house can accommodate 15, including children in beds, plus there is one crib. • Occupancy in excess there of shall constitute cause for termination of this Lease at option of host. • Tenant represents that at least two adults over the age of twenty five (25) will occupy the Residence throughout the term of the Lease. • Short term rentals are less than 30 days, Long term rentals are 30 days or longer. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED NO PETS ALLOWED • Lewes does not allow dogs on the beach during the day in summer season. Bringing a dog or cat is against agreement to stay and will incur and additional $350 cleaning fee. STRICTLY NO PARTIES/NO EVENTS (Unless expressly permitted by the host). MINIMUM AGE IS 26 TO RENT, unless accompanied by adult parent or guardian. ACCESS • Host will provide access instructions prior to check-in. Failure to return both (2) sets of keys will result in a $300 fee. Keys may not be duplicated without landlord prior approval. ARRIVAL INSPECTION • Guests shall personally inspect the residence at check in time and notify host immediately of any problems, otherwise the guest accepts the residence in as is condition. TAXES • The town of Lewes requires a 5% tax for short term rentals. • The state of Delaware enacted a 4.5% tax on short term rentals as well in 2025. PARKING • Free Parking in driveway and in front of house (up to 4-5 cars total.) LINENS: • In this area it is often customary for guests to bring their own sheets and bath towels. • The rental does NOT provide sheets or bath towels. There are convenient local linen rental companies guests have used or they bring their own. • Guests are welcome to use HOUSE beach towels, dishrags and washcloths if they wash and return them for next guests. Pillows, coverlets/blankets and mattress pads provided. OUTSIDE FIRES • All outside fires are prohibited; including those contained in fire pits. Tenants may contact Lewes Beach for fire permit on beach only. No fires are allowed in the indoor fireplace. CLEANING • Contact host for discussion of extra steps for cleaning during your stay. BIKES & KAYAKS: • Bike and kayaks may be available during your stay and use is at the guest's own risk.

Summer rentals book weekly from Saturday toSaturday. Guests must provide bed sheets and bath towels. There are blankets and pillows available. Guests are welcome to use beach towels, dish towels and bathmats and are requested to wash and dry these items for the next guests.
